I am a strong, trusted, and inspiring teacher. Students will feel emotionally safe, with no judgement, embarrassment, or dismissal. They are always put at ease to just be themselves. You can expect a calm, predictable presence who treats every student with respect. I want my students to be excited about learning, and I want them to feel like they can succeed. Students receive clear instructions and expectations, and I will never let them feel lost or confused about what they are working on. I also look to challenge my students but not overwhelm them. They will see evidence that they are advancing, receive positive feedback, and experience many small wins. I also teach singers how to accompany themselves and teach pianists how to discover their voice.
